I am a graduate from the College of Charleston. I graduated in May of 2013 with a degree in early childhood education. This is my second year teaching in my own classroom as well as my second year at St. James-Santee Elementary, and in a child development classroom.
A little about my family.
I have two older brothers. One is a doctor. He lives in Florida and has three sons. The other is a chef. He lives in Charleston and has one son. I have plenty of nephews and no nieces. I am very close with my mom and my grandmother. We grew up in Charleston and went to all CCSD schools. I have great pride in this school system and am very happy to be working for/with them.
As you may be able to tell, I value family very much. Family plays a large part in shaping us into who we are and how we learn.
If there is anything that you feel that I need to know about your child in order to make his or her learning experience as meaningful and effective as possible, please let me know. You know your children much better than I do, which is why I think that parental involvement is very important in your child’s education. As a team, we can ensure that your child has the best, most impactful year of Child Development possible.
I check my email periodically throughout the day. It is the best way to contact me. My email address is email@example.com
