PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions & Supports)

Our school uses the Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) framework to promote a positive, safe, and respectful learning environment. Through our H.E.R.O. motto, students are encouraged to demonstrate behaviors that support both personal growth and academic success by being:

• Helpful – Showing kindness, supporting others, and contributing positively to our school community.
• Engage – Maintaining a positive mindset, demonstrating perseverance, and approaching challenges with optimism.
• Respectful – Making good choices, being accountable for actions, and following school expectations.
• Organized – Striving for academic excellence, staying engaged in learning, and giving their best effort every day.

Students have multiple opportunities to demonstrate these H.E.R.O. qualities through daily interactions and school activities. Positive behaviors are recognized through daily and weekly acknowledgments, as well as scheduled incentive-based events that celebrate students who consistently model our H.E.R.O. expectations.
